Now
embarking on our seventh year, Camp
Culinary Creations has
partnered with locally acclaimed chefs, culinary
schools, hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and
a commercial kitchen facility to bring you
a one-of-a-kind culinary experience unavailable
anywhere else. This award-winning program
involves our budding chefs in a unique combination
of sports, arts and crafts, latch hook/sewing,
and water play….all combined with over
20 hours a week devoted to the culinary arts.
Campers will travel by school bus (accompanied
by camp counselors) each day to our camp partner
and local commercial kitchen facility, Just
Call Us Catering, for hours
of fun-filled and challenging culinary instruction…all
under the supervision and guidance of talented
chefs. Each week of camp also involves an
all-day field trip excursion which includes
a behind-the-scenes tour and a chance to interact
with culinary students from The
San Diego Culinary Institute,
as well as an amazing tour of the Manchester
Hyatt’s three grand executive
kitchens and award-winning chefs. Additional
field trips include a visit to Lotsa
Pasta for our “Tastes
Of The World” camp, and an exclusive
tour of a premier local bakery lies in store
for our “Basics In Baking”, “Delectable
Desserts”, and “Creations In Cake”
summer programs.

an excellent opportunity for our youngest
junior chefs to whisk their way into
the world of baking with this awesome
camp featuring basic cooking techniques,
kitchen safety, baking secrets, plating,
dining etiquette, and more! Our junior
chefs will whip up tasty treats such
as cinnamon rolls with cream cheese
frosting, decadent chocolate brownies,
cupcakes with butter cream icing, and
fresh baked scones. The excitement continues
with behind-the-scene tours of The
San Diego Culinary Institute,
the Manchester Hyatt’s
three grand kitchens, and a local premier
bakery…come join the fun!

served over rice, here’s an amazing
opportunity to feast on the flavors
of many different cultures, as our junior
chefs prepare multiple entrées
and learn advanced techniques such as
working with the five mother sauces,
making home-made pasta, plating, and

for your sweet tooth abounds in this
fun, yet challenging, camp as our junior
chefs master the art of dessert making
techniques, plating, serving etiquette,
and more! Daily culinary lessons involve
puff pastry cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit
tarts, chocolate mouse cake topped with
strawberries, and fresh baked scones
accompanied by a variety of flavored
butters. All chefs will also embark
on a behind-the-scenes tour of The
San Diego Culinary Institute,
the Manchester Hyatt’s
three grand kitchens, and a local premier
bakery…a camp experience of a

your own “cake boss” with
an entire week of camp devoted to the
art of cake baking and design. Campers
will bake their own cakes and learn
more advanced concepts such as creating
icings, fillings, designing sugar flowers,
using fondant, creative design concepts,
and more! Friday finds our junior pastry
chefs involved in a “top chef
challenge” where they’re
inspired to create their own cake design
incorporating all the concepts covered
throughout the week…all in a timed
situation. With behind-the-scene tours
of The San Diego Culinary
Institute, the Manchester
Hyatt’s three grand
kitchens, and a local premier bakery,

budding pastry chefs to rise to the
